For a small company, SDG offers a very fair package of benefits. They offer standard low and high deductible health plans, dental, vision and disability. They offer performance bonuses to full time staff and multiple ways for their contract staff to earn extra money. Since they focus on a lot of employee freedom, they do offer unlimited PTO and encourage employees to take time off. To compete with larger company benefits packages, they also offer free training and certification on a wide variety of topics with reimbursement for any fees. They proactively ship decent brand name SWAG to everyone, which is a nice little benefit. All in all its an impressive benefits package relative to the size of the company.
High Deductible health insurance plan that pays 0% until you meet your deductible. Unlimited vacation, which in reality equals no vacation. Doesn't pay for internet or any cost of working from home, yet does not have an office

SDG offers ACA compliant PPO plans with health, dental, vision and disability insurance with preferred coverage in all 50 states and US territories. Our employees can choose a low deductible w/copay plan or high deductible w/$0 copay with HSA plan. We believe strongly in work life balance and discourage our employees from taking "working vacations", but rather truly step away for rest and recharge. We're sorry you felt this way and will strive to remind and encourage our team moving forward to take advantage of this benefit. SDG provides equipment and expense reimbursement based on job roles. We built our company on a work from home model, that places high value on flexible scheduling. We encourage all prospective employees to consider the benefits and costs of remote work before joining SDG. We also strongly encourage all our employees to take advantage of the generous tax deductions the IRS offers for home office expenses.
