All of this is according to the current union contract. After a 90 probationary period, you can enroll in the union and receive healthcare (medical, vision, dental), and 15 total days of PTO. There are 12 PD's and 3 floating holidays. You get 50% off used books and 40% off merchandise (all to be paid in cash only). In addition, there are union holidays where you get paid 1.5x should you choose to work it. If you document that you go to the gym at least six times in a quarter, you get paid a $25 visa gift card. You may also receive a pre tax commuter benefit.
Health care after 2 months of working there, up to 9 personal days, 1 week vacation after a year working there and a second one after your 18 months. Co-pay for health care is very high, no 401k,
We got a nice discount on books. Because of its Union status we had insurance, and sometimes they would order pizza to show their appreciation.
Vacation time is standard. 401K is not matching, but still offered to all employees. Non-managers are unionized. Medical is pretty decent.
