good benefits, especially the meal discounts and equipment
- Free Season Pass - 50% off food and drink - 30% of gear from Stratton stores - 12 25$ lift tickets
Competitive package, winter season pass, thoughtful small pluses like holiday meals, BBQ and holiday gifts. Also have daycare.
The Benefits at Stratton are OK. 401k match is low and is facilitated by Vanguard. Medical Insurance has a low premium and an HSA where funds carry into the next year- high deductible plan like most people these days. It's nice to have, and as far as I can tell is cheaper than a lot of the other options out there but it can still be expensive to take care of your medical needs. This is where taking advantage of the HSA is huge. Dental gets paid out of pocket and reimbursed, even in network. I don't use Vision, but I hear it's a good plan. Free ski pass and a very generous PTO package for year round full time employees. Four weeks for new employees, five weeks from five years and up. No holidays or holiday pay- you should basically expect to spend all of your holidays at work.
Paid time off(pto) is alright. Health insurance benefits are expensive and cover very little with high deductibles. Vision and dental plans are equally as worthless. 401k has no matching funds. Really the only true benefit to working at Stratton is the free seasons pass, which if you don't ski or ride then…
Good vacation, average HDHP insurance. GREAT company perks - golf, tennis, fitness center, ski passes. Fantastic child care center and summer camps and winter ski schools for older children.
