Prices have gone up and company has enacted a type of socialism to pay for health insurance. My insurance went up 30% from 2016 to 2017. Lowest paid employees have their insurance subsidized by higher paid employees. This punishes people making around 30'000 a year or close to 14.00 hr by essentially cutting their pay by $1/hr. IF you were paid 1 dollar less an hour your insurance would cost less. Essentially giving you a pay cut. Notice "higher paid" employees includes people making 14.00 and hour
