Most of the benefits are excellent at SunEdison. The health insurance has low deductives and decent co-pay for a minimal charge to employee. Vacation days are standard and low. Maternity is 4 month and paternity 1 month. Have additional benefits such as family care leave, adoption assistance and baby bonuses.
Lots of talk about having the "best benefits"...never saw this materialize. Great 401k with automatic 2% from company with additional match. Decent healthcare/dental/etc. Shuttle in Bay Area a few times per week with public transport subsidy as well. Paid time off was meager and many were pressured to not take off time.
They provided Medical, dental and vision. You paid part out of pocket, the amount was dependent on what type of coverage you had chosen.
401K match was the best, the worst was a management team with no women out of 200.
PTO is within the industry standard
Benefits were great and very reasonable.... Issue is the work life balance sucks so hard to use said benefits. 401k is matched 4.2% for every 6% contributed.
Maternity leave is for 4 months which is great
Poor management of 401k. Even when company stock was plumiting, fund managers never dumped stocks.
Offers medical/pharmacy, dental, vision, employer paid and optional life/spouse insurance, tuition assistance, short/long term disability, paid time off, employee assistance program.
SunEdison is constantly working on their Best in Class benefits in order to makeit the best place to work.
