Good benefits. Good people
4% match for retirement contribution is average, but no profit matching in addition. Medical insurance is substandard, with high deductibles and high premiums for insuring dependents.
Vacation accrual is not high.
Good benefits package overall, but has poor 401k matching. The medical coverage is good, as is the dental, vision, and PTO.
Pros: Sick leave added in 2017 for Arizona workers, paid parental leave added in 2017, MLK Jr. Day and Veterans Day holidays added in 2016. Onsite gym under construction. Small cafeteria with meals for purchase. Fun social events throughout the year. Cons: Use or lose PTO, cannot carry over year-end. Vision benefit is only every other year for glasses.
Health insurance premium keeps going up every year, but the coverage keeps getting worse. Sunquest provides decent matching for 401k contribution. Sunquest allows employees participate in medical and dependent care flexible spending accounts.
CONS: Set # of PTO days where all time off (vacation, sick, personal) comes from one bucket. The number of days in the bucket increases on a sliding scale based on your tenure with the company. The number of days in the bucket to start with is lower than other companies I've worked at in the past. No Comp Time for off-hours, evening, or weekend work. PROS: The company recently took a proactive approach to increase the number of paid holidays by +2 for all US based employees.
The best perk is are the deals we get through abbinety. I have a discount on my gym and phone bill. That are actually pretty good. I get 22% off my phone bill.
Very expensive premiums combined with expensive co-pays and outrageous deductibles
3 weeks PTO to start even as an ex pro hire, seems other companies are offering 4 weeks. Just okay
