StarStarStarStarStar Current Assistant Manager in East Rutherford, New Jersey

Supercuts training is great. The one week HSA training before you start working really gives you a feel for the environment what to expect and how to cut with the Supercuts techniques which is great especially if your coming straight out of school. There is also training seminars where a artistic director helps you with anything from cuts to color and style that you might have questions for

The training program is good, however as a manager I found many things that went against basic principles of disinfection and sanitation as well as color theory and proper procedures.

They really care about you getting the training you need. The only thing that I really don't like about it, is that you have to use their technique in the salon and they don't like you to do your own thing. They also make you come back after some time to perform all the haircuts again and you are graded on how you do. If you do not pass they make you go through the whole training process again before you can go back on the floor again.
