Swift provides eligible employees who certify that they are the primary caregiver with 16 weeks of paid primary caregiver leave for time off leading up to or immediately following the birth or adoption of a child. In addition to the period of paid parental leave, the primary caregiver may request up to an additional 10 weeks of parental leave without pay.
Additionally, Swift offers the opportunity for primary caregivers to ease back into work upon returning with a 32 hour work week for the first three months after leave. Employees who opt for benefit will still receive full time pay, while enjoying additional flexibility in their transition back to work.
Swift provides eligible employees who are not the primary caregiver with four weeks of paid parental leave for time off leading up to or within 6 months following the birth or adoption of a child.
