A little below average for industry standards.

1 week elimination period by using your 1 week PTO prior to going on leave. 6 weeks for natural and 8 weeks for C section. Not very good maternity leave policy. Paternity leave is 2 weeks.

Saw a lot of people let go who were on maternity leave. Bare minimum provided.

Standard 8-10 weeks maternity leave, and CA state offers partial pay an additional 8-10 weeks. Most of us take the max 4-5 months leave and management is supportive. There are Expectant Mother parking spots at Mountain View offices. At least one week PTO must be used for the elimination period and no additional PTO is offered to mothers. Fathers receive an additional 2 weeks PTO and can also use up to 6 weeks of partial pay from CA state.

Symantec offers standard 8-10 weeks STD, and CA state provides partial pay the remainder of the time. Most take 4-5 months total. There are expectant mother parking spots at all the Mountain View buildings.
