As an intern I didn't get a benefits package. The only thing I could enjoy is free transportation orca card and some snacks from the kitchen.
Very generous! 4-5 weeks PTO, good high deductible PPO plan with employer contribution to HSA, dental, vision, paid AD&D, 401(k), ESOP, phone and commute stipend, paid parental leave, travel assistance, and a dependent care FSA. Flexible scheduling, weekly team lunch and frequent fun after-work activities for thinkers, drinkers, sporty-types and/or those who like costumes.
They have a 401k plan and a high deductible health plan with savings account (HSA) which can be really helpful. There's also a profit sharing scheme but it's not set up well. Otherwise they're standard benefits and the paid time off is pretty average.
Synapse changed their health insurer this year and it is a big improvement over the previous one. PTO is a a generous (4 weeks) BUT it's also used for sick time. Sometimes people come to work sick and pass it around. The health plan is a high deductible PPO plan. It is expensive if you're used to a traditional co-pay plan. Synapse offers reimbursement and a HSA to partially offset that cost if you get sick. 401k, vision plan, and dental plan are very good too. Plus small perks like phone and commute stipends...they offer a complete package.
