Unlimited ETO sounds great in the interview but it takes a special kind of modern thinking to pull in off and Synopsys does not have that type of culture. They should not offer ETO as it just causes frustration for employees. As another person mentions, who in this day and age ever has all possible work done and so can say I can take time off without the worry it will come back negatively on me. I was actually told that I was taking too much time off... and not because I was behind on my work but because others were not requesting time off!
