Once you become a Senior or Principal, 10% of your billings go into an account to cover holidays, vacation, sick days, bench time, etc. What you do not use, you can bonus out once per quarter. Usually by the time you finish your first year as a Principal, you have enough built up in the account that most of the monthly contributions to the account can be paid out as a quarterly bonus.
