Best vacation policy I have ever seen. Unlimited vacation at manager's discretion.

10 official holidays per year. PTO is determined by the immediate supervisor.

Moved to "unlimited time off" which is typical of the mean-spirited management attitude

PTO is 'flexible' meaning there is no defined number of days/hours per year you are allowed off but instead it's at discretion of your manager. If you work in a role where you are needed always and there is no backup for you then you may never get that 3 week vacation.

No accounting, silicon valley style accounting, means Managers get to decide, YUCK

Good Benefit to take time off

The company shuts down during Christmas to New Years which seems like it should become more of an industry standard for those companies that don't have the fiscal year ending in December. Beyond that there is unlimited time off as long as your manager approves it. There are great blogs about this as a double-edge sword. As long as you have a manager that appreciates vacation too, shouldn't be hard to take the days you want.
