Better than state mandated leave
Maternity Leave falls under the FMLA laws so how it is currently documented is an employee may receive six (6) weeks of paid major medical leave to have baby and then an additional six (6) weeks of bonding time with baby. Bonding time includes the employees vacation time, floating holiday, or any sick time. If that is exhausted then unpaid time is initiated until the latter six weeks is exhausted.
Maternity Leave is only offered, however they allow up to 4 months off with no consequence or stipulations upon return and even train to update the returning employee on call center policy updates and changes.
