TTX Company is committed to the health, wellness and financial security of our employees and their families. We offer a total compensation package that includes competitive salaries and excellent benefits, such as:
railroad pension is the best and worst.
Impossible to beat the benefits at TTX HQ. Salaried employees start at 15 vacation days, plus sick days, plus 12 vacation days. Full BCBS PPO+ plan without having to have $$ taken out of your paycheck. You pay into Railroad Retirement instead of Social Security. The only downside would be that this takes a little more out of your paycheck than social security, with the upside that it will still be there by the time you retire. Partial 401k matching, tuition reimbursement up to 7.5k a year. Plus pension! Partial work from home depending on your position, & same goes for travel. There is also more that I am unfamiliar with.
Free healthcare for all employees Benefits are great. Could have a better tuition reimbursement. You only get around 2k a semester.
The best medical benefits around. Premiums paid for by the company for a platinum BCBS plan.
I have worked both in the private sector and for the government and TTX has by far the best benefit package that I have had access to. Our health benefits are the best bar none and the tools are there to retire in better financial shape than I would have been in with any of the other companies I have worked for. There are several "seasonal" employee/family activities that tend to keep a family atmosphere in place.
Has a pension, 401k and Railroad Retirement. Excellent health coverage.
By far the best benefit package I have ever been offered by an employer.
BCBS PPO, Pension, Only Maternity
Everything is good. I enjoyed working there.
Excellent benefits. Good retirement perk.
