401k, health insurance, life insurance, AD&D, college payment for employees and families
Retirement plan is not actually a pension
Absolutely no benefits at all for contract employees even if you are there long term.
Best - vacation policy, Currently earn 26 days paid vacation. Worst - no retirement plan anymore other than 401K
401k, paid vacation. benefits are good
Had a retirement plan, no longer offered for future employees. Now 401(k) only for new employees moving forward.
401k matching is really great
One perk that was very clear was the chance for long-serving employees to retire and collect their pension, while continuing to work as independent contractors.
Health insurance was good...choice between three types, a high deductible meaning had to have a HSA and TvA would contribute to the HSA at the start of each year; a 80%/20% plan where insurance would pay 80% and the employee would pay 20% and a third which pretty well paid close to 100%. Cost was very reasonable on the high deductible; pretty reasonable on the 80/20 and ridiculously high on the 100%.
The healthcare benefits were the best. I still think they had a great package. A lot of employees hated it, but compared to the private sector, I thought it was great.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
