Health insurance, dental, vision, 401k match could be better. Lots of "soft" benefits- local CSA participation, Rock Lititz Fun Club participation, dog and kid friendly office. Not many bank holidays and it takes a way to earn "enough" vacation to be meaningful.
The worst thing about that benefits package is that they hardly give you any vacation time or holidays so you have to use your time wisely. Along with that, most departments don't allow flexible hours which makes having less time off even harder.
When I left a Fortune 500 company (Orbital/ATK...worked there for 24 years) I did not expect my benefits to improve by joining TAIT Towers. The 401k is not as good but EVERYTHING else is better. It is a true testimony as to ownerships commitment to their employees with the plan we currently have.
Good health insurance and a good 401k Program.
The health insurance and 401k packages aren't bad. Personal days are limited and you are forced to use them if you are sick unlike many other companies. Vacation time tops out at 4 weeks while most other places seem to do 5. You also can't roll over any vacation days into the next year. Paid holidays are bare minimum with no Black Friday or Christmas Eve.
Traditional benefits are acceptable -- health is good, retirement is meh. Vacation, PTO, holidays, hours flexibility, and the coffee are embarrassingly awful.
The 401k match could be better, but overall benefits are top notch.
There are a lot of hidden secrets. You need to ask for everything that is part of their package. If you don't ask, you don't get.
The company just changed to a new insurance company - Highmark. The plan is terrible, the coverage has gone down, you must fight Highmark for every penny.
The Worst was the Little amount of Holidays The best was misc Perks like getting events, concerts. Turning corp fast
