Benefits were average for the market. High premiums for health insurance or high deductible are the norm these days and this was no different. Salaried employees had a generous extended illness bank as a new hire when I was there. Tuition reimbursement was difficult to get per the policy limitations.
Their health insurance is terrible and I expect better from a hospital.
High deductibles and mediocre service
For 2017 Tanner Health System is matching employee 401K savings at a 6 % rate. This is a great benefit they are doing for employees.

Considering that Tanner is a major health care company in the West GA area you would think that they would offer better health insurance and benefits. They do not. Every year that I was there the health insurance plans got more and more expensive but paid for and covered less every year.
no problems applying for benefits.
No smoking policy, which I understand and appreciate
Generous paid-time-off program. They match 3% of 401k contribution.
Tanner matches 401K at 5%, Offers several disocunts, and fair insurance prices.
