Excellent benefits. Especially 403b
Health insurance plan is great at Teachers College.
The benefits are limiting as a student part-time employee. Students are required to pay for Columbia health insurance if they don't already have an external provider
Vacation and Sick days are good
From the perspective of someone who is in a union, the benefits are good overall. However, it needs improvement. Other universities in the area with even less capital offer stronger benefit packages.
Worst: insurance premiums are high
Does not include tuition for part/time professional administrative staff
403 matching was great.
As an intern, I didn't receive any insurance packages etc. I got paid biweekly by submitting timesheet to my boss. Sick-leaves and work schedules are very easily negotiated.
I like that we get free health care.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
