“Two great options for health insurance plans.”
“Overall great 401k plans available. ”
“Generous earned PTO for all in the company. ”
Techsmith offers an abundant amount of benefits for even new hires.
Good perks, including solid health insurance, 18+ days of time off, and maternity/paternity leave.
TechSmith has awesome benefits, and I believe they are among the best in the area.
The benefits package at TechSmith is generous. The perks are nice, but even without them, it's a good place to work.
The best thing about the benefits at TechSmith is the company is consistently trying to modify them to meet the needs of their employees.
It's a solid health care plan. Vision, Dental, Blue Cross Blue Shields. Matching 401k. More than generous paid time off policy.
The benefits package overall is a generous package considering the healthcare frowning upon the "Cadillac" health plan. I think the benefits given are as close as you can get without falling into this category. A couple options are available to chose from that best suits your needs. The only thing that would make it better would be to incorporate some kind of vision insurance.
No paternity leave and very weak maternity leave plan.
Trendy benefits such as free catered lunch on Fridays, free snacks, sponsored running events and other social events, but lacking when it comes to schedule flexibility - working from home is allowed but somewhat frowned upon, there are no options for schedules that vary from the traditional 8 hours/5 days a week model.
Decent vacation time, paid holidays and health care. 410k match to 5%. Vision coverage would be nice since we stare at computer screens all day. More remote or work from home options would be nice - it seems to be available for some, but not all.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
