Both Technicolor and I benefited significantly from my working from home. Flexible hours allowed me to avoid mind numbing commuting delays. They have a great coffee machine and buy good coffee.
Technicolor did not make it clear about any good benefits with the job.
Health, dental and vision insurance is good, but 401K package is not equal at all locations (Huntsville is lower than other regional sites).
401 K, Magellan support, no prime for gym membership
Good benefits - 4 x 4 schedule.
Health insurance premium is much lower compared to other places for the same level of benefits.
Insurance is reasonable, 401K match
Best: matching 401K, Gym, convenient location worst: No Stock, Life Insurance rate, Health Insurance Rate, Bonus cut
Very well organized benefits. Sadly, no stock options. In addition to the 401(k) there is a pension / retirement program. Mine was worth well under $100K after being with them for 10 years so while it is nice to have, don't count on it for major expenses in your old age. And - I believe it was discontinued in 2009. :(
Vacation, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, 401k
