Worst thing is that the 401k is with Wells Fargo who I refuse to support. Also insurance premiums are a bit expensive.
The have it all but it's high and not the best. Daily benefits costs hundreds per month and takes up most of salary But they cover health life long and short term and 401k
The time off and the company events are by far the best thing about Televox. After 2 years you have the equivalent of almost 3 weeks off.
Health Insurance is a bit pricey especially if you want to add your spouse. PTO is outstanding; head & shoulders above other companies I've been involved with over the years. There are 9 paid holidays plus 2 optional holidays per year to use as you please. Flexibility to work from home some if need arises.
The company has an amazing health insurance plan with an equally gratifying vacation time. the 401K is matched with the company, the biggest perk of all is summer fun Fridays where shorts may be worn.
Benefits aren't available to employees until they have been employed for 90 days and that's 90 days from the first full calendar month that the employee works. So if you started a few days, you're not actually eligible for almost four months. Some managers will add a hiring bonus if asked to do so but it's not consistent and has to be requested. Why not just skip the bonus and provide salaried employees benefits from day one?
TeleVox offers medical, dental and vision insurance. They have a great vision and medical. I do not like dental because they have a large deductible and don't cover much.
the insurance is way too expensive and terrible coverage. TeleVox at one time was a family owned company that gave great heath insurance. Unfortunately the company was bought out by West. West traditional was a call center, so they had a large portion of their employees that were unskilled workers right out of high school and they had huge turnover rates. Because of these two facts they never needed to offer reasonable health insurance or compensation plans for their employees. They have extended this laughably large pay roll deduction (not to be confused with actual healthcare) to their highly technical workers at TeleVox. West really needs to take better care of their employees, especially with the large number of technical jobs that are flooding the Mobile and surrounding job markets.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
