Benefits were great, especially paid time off and salary. I enjoyed all that I learned there and especially appreciate my coworkers.

The medical benefits were not great; very high deductible, and limited provider offering in my geography. 401(K) match was also minimal. Other benefits were pretty standard.

health benefits recently improved for salaried staff - previously union employees had less costly benefits, the same options are now available to all employees.

yet another 401k with a stupid vesting period. These vesting periods were probably ok back in the day when companies were committed to long term employment. Another problem is that Tenet only pays out their match once a year, for the prior year, and they don't put the match in until April. And it's not guaranteed. Today? Not at useful. So you should bid a 5-10% higher salary because they don't help much with 401k. One cool thing when I was there was the health plan. At that time I could take my family to a tier one provider for FREE. So routine checkups, cold and flu stuff, urgent care stuff was all free. Saved hundreds of dollars. But there weren't very many tier one providers, had to drive a ways to get to one. They did also pay for a DART pass- free mass transit.

Low premiums with good insurance coverage. Gold package offers employer funded HRA. Stock options and 401-k match.
