Health insurance is okay, company does match half of up to 6% of contribution (weird, I know, but that's how they state it). Dental and vision are available at a low cost, which is nice.

All sick time, federal holidays, and time off are rolled into one amount.

401k has a 50% match up to 6% of your salary, so there's something but it certainly isn't generous. 5 year vesting period so most junior staff won't get the real benefits of that. PTO is mediocre, and holiday bonuses are office and operating unit profitability dependent. Huge company so there's a list of discounts and whatever they have negotiated with different companies, such as Friend and Family for car dealerships, discounted movie tickets, cell phone discounts, stuff like that. Most are not easy to use because they're HR locked or time locked behind forms and processing times. Movie tickets are not valid on new releases or whatever, which is dumb. They have a lot to offer when it's listed out but they make it hard to take advantage. Medical insurance is mediocre at best, but it's somewhat cheap until you add a wife (then it's affordable) and kid (then it's expensive). They partner with Aetna, which is a huge company. However, some offices are in areas where doctors don't accept Aetna, so be prepared to request your doctor to accept it, or you'll end up finding another doctor. No flexibility to use alternative or local insurance plans. Dental and vision riders are pretty good though. Short term disability and life insurance is pretty cheap. In NY, mothers can use short term disability after birth so that's nice. NY state government just passed a law for some pay and approved leave for parents, with partial pay. This leave is 12 weeks and can be used throughout a year after birth of a child. It's not a TT benefit, but it's something. Lots of other availability for other insurances, legal counsel, and others. But you pay for all of it, so it's not really a "benefit" - and many things like the gym discounts are only available at huge chain gyms, where you may not even have reasonable access to depending where you live. The tuition assistance is there but you can only take 2 classes a semester, so you're looking at 5 years to get an advanced degree at best, if you can flex it around your schedule.

Very affordable Aetna health insurance. If you are employee, you can purchase company stocks with 50% discount. Discount with Verizon wireless.

The benefits package is competitive. Vision, dental and 401K match are offered. One of my favorite benefits is the employee stock purchasing program! Guaranteed 15% profit on whatever you put away.

The company offered a wide variety of benefits, dental, 401k, stock options etc. If I wasn't in school I would have stayed with the company.

As part of "Tetra Tech Services", the only benefit I currently receive is sick time. I do also get time and a half for Overtime hours as well.
