I have always appreciate that the State does pay for employee healthcare and the different supplements offered within the plan package, Also glad they switched back to BCBS of TX.
the coverage was good and was provided at no cost to the employee
Free for you, expensive for the whole family
The insurance coverage was changed in the middle of the calendar year for a cheaper plan where service providers were harder to come by as none were in-network.
The benefits here are great. You have many options to choose from, they have a cafeteria plan established for pre-tax, and and they're incredibly cheap.
Free for employee, so if you're single and have no dependents, it's pretty good. Gets expensive if you have to add your spouse and/or dependents. Plans themselves are rather mediocre.
most places don't offer health insurance at this rate
The health insurance is good, it is not high priced but that because you barely make any money.
I like that they had so much time off and comp time available and that they provided what's ability for people that had children
Health Insurance coverage is good.
