    If you're a long-time employee, the amount of vacation time is great. Except, you're so busy it can be difficult to take time off.

    no complaints in this department!! There are plenty of state, federal days along with vac and time off that are accrued monthly and the longer you have been with the state the more hrs you get.

    Lots of time off if you include holidays. The organization has been known to give extra optional leave (basically, extra vacation hours) throughout the year.

    You get a good amount of federal and state holidays. But they tell you about skeleton crew days but you are not guaranteed to get them off as they advertise.
