CBORD offers eligible employees paid vacation, personal, and sick days upon first day of employment, pro-rated by month of hire. After five years of service employees receive added PTO.
~3 weeks out the gate for my position but GOOD LUCK getting to use it because your only job is to bring in revenue and if you're on vacation you are not making the company money. They will not let you roll over time and will force you to use your time off when you are traveling to see a client and get stuck in the airport.
3 weeks to start, no banking
Vacation and PTO is solid and locally competitive. At one time, company allowed staff to bank vacation days and later take it as a payout if you terminated employment (correctly). That plan was discontinued, likely in part due to number of employees all with over 20 year's with firm and all with 5 weeks vacation time.....it is important staff use vacation to recycle and recharge, so in end it was likely a good decision.
3 weeks per year for salaried employees, and 2 weeks for hourly
