The Benefits are AMAZING. Health, Dental, 401k and their Retirement Plus program is all fabulous!
I know that the heath insurance is great for full-time employees. I have a friend that his wife works there and he had to do a really expensive heart surgery. He ended up paying 4,000 dollars with everything because of her plan.
They have a normal benefits package like 401k, ok health insurance and discounts on public transport. However, the perks really depend on what position you have and how influential you are. Nothing is offered to part-time employees, even if they work more than 30 hrs a week. Part-time employees are not even allowed at certain company functions that include the department you work in.
As a contingent employee, you are not eligible for a 401k package. You do get vacation and time off, but it does you no favors politically if you use it. The health and dental insurance were above average.
The Church is without a doubt the best place I have worked at. I am just an intern, yet for trust me with very important tasks.
The package is very nice, we are well covered. The Cons is that the package is not flexibal.
The benefits package is, overall, better than most.
Incredible retirement and medical benefits. The medical is very affordable.
DMBA has some preauthorization rules on certain procedures. This isn't known by many doctors who will order something that needs preauthorized and you end up paying the full price out of pocket. You need to be on top of this list when you are meeting with doctors.
Medical, dental coverage is good, although there is a lack of women's health coverage. 401k matching is available. No paid maternity/paternity. Takes a long time to save up time off.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
