Just like any company, premiums are increasing. Still a big help.
Clorox recently switch from Kaiser HMO to PPO, which significantly increased co-pays and overall cost for healthy people. United Healthcare PPO also available. Similar cost as Kaiser.
Kaiser and alternative plans are offered in California so employees have a choice.
Pretty normal health plan, lots of different choices, be it PPO or HMO
Not a high deductible plan plus option of Kaiser.
Standard insurance packages are available.
Plan allows me to see specialist without a referral which saves cost of the primary care visit when you know you need specialized care (e.g. Orthopaedic visit). Preventative care is covered at 100% with no co-pay or out of pocket cost.
You get a good choice of doctors
Like most companies, the coverage is declining while the out of pocket is increasing. Don't think this is unique to Clorox so much as endemic across healthcare industry. They did a good job of communicating recent changes to the health plan offerings.
Health insurance is OK but nothing extraordinary, there are couple of options to chose from but is not a 100% paid by the company.
