In most US regions, the benefits are great. While the premiums initially seem slightly higher than other companies', you then realize that there are combined deductibles. For example, instead of having $2,000 medical deductible and $1,500 pharmacy deductible, we have a combined deductible of only $1,500. The premiums are lower than any of my past employers, but some coworkers suggest the premiums are slightly higher. The 401k is great once the company match begins after one year of service. The work-life balance is great.
Pretty solid and competitive package. Some good options were not available, and the cost for on of the locally popular HMO options was relatively expensive.
Best: 401k match and contribution, wellness program and work remotely Worst: High premiums and complicated plans
Really good employee HealthWorks program including quarterly employee challenges such as walking, drinking water, powering down electronics. In addition annual health fairs are conducted on location at various company sites.
The company does a great job of PTO and well as benefits and options. Maxing out the 401K was my main priority with the option to work from home at times.
A few things really stand out about the benefits program at Clorox. While there aren't flashy benefits like free lunch, free booze at the office, or unlimited vacation, the benefits that really count are outstanding. Clorox has the absolute best 401k package I've ever seen, they value work-life balance in a very meaningful way, and all summer long practice half-day friday's, which basically makes every summer weekend feel like a 3-day weekend.
The company matches up to 6% in your 401K plan. Just like other companies, employee contribution is increasing, but still a great benefit. They also match donations or time to approved charities. Great employee discounts on Burt's Bees and Renew Life.
base pay is decent. 10% 401K match is solid. Good number of sick days (7) and personal days (5). vacation based on years of work experience. Outside of Clorox included. 1-5 years (10 days), 5-10 (15 days), 20+ (20 days). Can purchase three extra days of vacation.
Company offer Good benefits overall and Fridays are half days in summer. Food in the cafe is average with limited options.
The best thing is the flexible schedule. Healthcare is not the best for contractors. We recently just got 10 PTO days a year, it would be nicer if we got holidays too. Also don't have a 401K match program for contractors but they do offer a 401K.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
