Best: It is not an all or nothing deal. You can but different benefit packages together based on your needs. Worst: Costs keep going up for out of pocket expenses.

They offered no form of benefits, and you weren't paid enough to be able to afford your own. They split their stores into "individual small businesses" so they aren't required by the state of California to offer benefits

If you're not a full time employee, which consists of manager staff, then you won't be receiving any benefits package.

Fully covered health insurance. I basically use the merchandise discount the most since I am an actual coffee drinker.

i love the benefits package, i've never had an issue. It's always been easy and covered everything when i've gone to the doctor

Compared to other jobs I've had in the same field the benefits are sub par. Yes, there is a 401K but there isn't any matching which is a bummer. The health insurance is also only for full time (40 hour/week) employees and is very expensive.

You could opt into it, but the real issue here was pay vs. benefits. If I really needed it, then sure, it would've sufficed. But for everyday employees? Usually in their early 20s? Not worth it. Except for dat sweet free coffee and tea.

The 401k opportunity is great. I am so glad I took the chance to get mine started.
