I was a part time employee so there were no health benefits. We got a card every month with $25 to use at coffee bean, and with our employee discount (50%) it can buy you quite a few coffees! We also got one free drink during our shifts.
for full time, free drinks,discount
When you work part-time, you get nothing. Very low pay, tips are compiled weekly and you split up based on hours worked, instead of from the shift you work. Part-time has no benefits (which is usual), and there really isn't a chance to move up in the company. However, a coworker I had who was a full-time supervisor still couldn't pay her bills with the pay and benefits given to her.
No benefits for part time supervisors
The employee discount is pretty nice
Not too sure about this.
you dont really get any benefits
There are no benefits for part-time employees. The only things barista get are tips and a 33% off employee discount. You also get a free drink on days you work.
Health insurance plan is really good, as is dental and vision. 401(k) is solid. Vacation, on the other hand, is terrible.
Most benefits are for full time employees only. Most employees are part time and therefore do not qualify for benefits such as 401k or paid vacation. We do have a few perks though.
