They offer it all, decent coverage all around. Employees also become small time owners
Very flexible for time off requests
Insurance is a joke now. Deductables are so high, it worthless unless you have a major issue. Vacation time is based on how many years your with the company. 401k is pretty standard, believe they match 3, or 2 %.
Health insurance: There are 2 options for health insurance, but neither of them are great for family coverage. Preventive visits are covered 100%, HSA available with more expensive premium. Premiums are fairly low, deductibles fairly high. Dental and vision insurance as well. 401K/Retirement: First of the year after one full year of employment. Can't speak to company match. They do offer stock purchase. PTO: One week paid PTO until several years of employment. Other: Discount on Verizon bill. Employee savings account option (deducted directly from paycheck)
Full Benefits including piad time off and paid vacation days. As lower level employee must work to achieve as many as you can
Everything is VERY average... But Davey is an employee owned company and the true benefit of working there is taking advantage of that.
Nothing. Well i guess if you want to never see your house or family ever again, its right for you. Dont be fooled, its garbage. Sorry to say that, but my run was an awful time.
The absolute worth health insurance that I have ever had. This company should be embarrassed to offer only TWO types of medical benefits with insanely high deductibles
Insurance deductible is VERY HIGH, $5,000 for an individual, more for a family. If you have to have a medical procedure done, even something small, it will take forever to pay off with the small size of Davey paychecks.
They do offer a lot of benefits at Davey, but they really depend on the fact if you are a full time or a salary paid employee. Some benefits do not take effect immediately, as you need to be an employee for 1 year before you can start the 401K plan or own Davey Stock.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
