“If you need great benefits, this is not the place for you.”
“not much vacation and off”
Insurance isnt the best and the more money you make the more it costs
The benefits aren't the worst but the aren't great either. High deductibles.
Health benefits are very expensive and they are designed so you have to use MFA doctors to save you some costs. This way MFA can make money off of its employees. The PTO policy was just changed and you cannot carry anything over from year to year. You will spend most of your paycheck on paying for premiums depending on how much you make. MFA is not in good financial shape and has not been making any profits. No salary increase for the past two years and don't expect any for next year. There are better places to work as an RN in the DC area.
the worse benefit ever had
Provide comprehensive coverage, but too expensive.
Health insurance is with United, has high deductibles and heavily based on using MFA providers, which is terrible if you need mental health care or don't live in DC proper. Good vacation time, though providers have to put in for it 5-6 months in advance.
401k is not so great. 4% with 3 yr cliff
Health insurance benefits are expensive but dental is good. Retirement plans are inadequate.
It is very expensive for single as well as families
Medical coverage costs are too high
