There is an Inventment and Savings Plan (401K) program for The Hartford employees. The Hartford provides company matching.
I heard that was good.
They took away our pension
Switched to Defined Contribution plan in 2008.
We have one. So far the pension plan continues for current employees. Retirees have been cut loose with a lump sum payment.
It use to be amazing, just like many otters older firms with a guaranteed pension. It then moved to a cash balance and has once again shifted to ee driven only, but with a higher percentage buy in on the company side
