Work hours are reasonably flexible
Haskell offers the standard engineer a 3 week PTO vacation plan, and will provide additional beareavement leave if you need it.
Good amount of vacation days the longer you work here. Nice location of the office. The culture is very relaxed.
Not enough PTO. Expensive health insurance. Have stated to employees that their benefits are "competitive" but they really are not.
Freedom to select your 401K allocation per pay check 2-10%. Can only adjust your benefits on a yearly basis.
Not having a matching 401k is a definite con. The healthcare is also very expensive, especially with a family and "premium" insurance plans.
Benefits seem to change every year. Family plan is pretty expensive.
The PTO policy and benefits package is pretty standard, the discounted entertainment and hotel prices are good.
The bonus system is convoluted and tends to strongly favor certain jobs. The retirement package is ESOP, and vests in 5 years minimum, which means it is risky. Vacation days can feel limited compared to the hours you sometimes have to work. On the other hand, flexible work locations and flexible work hours are nice.
