Part time receives sick time, as well as vacation hours. The pay is very nice for a part time job while in college. I have already set up my 401k with Home Depot and it's doing well.
They generally have a decent health insurance package. They also have financial planning options that are especially helpful to young employees.
health care for both full and part time. 401 k, discounted stock options, bonus potential
The people working there were exceptional and the benefits were decent. The work hours were okay.
Health benefits are a bot high for family bit several options to fit your needs. Benefits package overall is great!
The Home Depot has some of the best, if not the best, company benefits out there. While we do not receive in-store discounts, we are connected to our vendors and other vendors where we can receive substantial benefits on many products. For example, my last plane ticket would have been $700 and thru THD it was $375!!!! The health benefits are good, maybe the deductible is a bit high but that's the one I chose because I don't go to the doctor often. We have profit sharing twice a year based on how well the store performs. The Employee Stock Purchase Program is really good with a 15% discount of stock purchase; however, many of us grunts don't make enough to take advantage of that offer.
Health care package had changed. Due to income level could only afford the minimun coverage. They offer a lot options. No store discounts.
Great Company that has a great 401k structure. Hey investing is easy and if you contribute they will match a fair % of your contribution.
worst thing i can say about the benefits package is the fact how there is no employee discount.
The best thing about the benefits is the vacation time is accrued equally (based on hours worked) for full time and part time associates. (You earn a weeks worth of vacation after 1 year)
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
