401k match is good up to 5% but it takes 1 year to start matching and until the 3 year mark to start vesting

It’s incredibly expansive and generous. The Home Depot truly offers a competitive benefits package.

The worst part about the short term benefits (PTO, Sick time) was that if you only received half a shift of sick time per month. Part-time associates got 2 hours every month of sick time and Full-time associates got 4. The only thing that was good was out of the managers hands; your 401k. If the market was good so was it.

You can get better health coverage for far less money from covered california. The only real benefit not required by law is a 401k and stock purchase plane, both have very high administrative fees if you decide to make any changes to your plan.
