2 weeks to start, goes up to 3 weeks depending on your manager it can be a bit more flexible
Both done at manager's discretion based on staffing needs and how busy retail customers are.
Sick time is good to have when you have children. Vacation time is a hit or miss. Turned down several times because it wasn't good for the store.
Vacation time off is at the same rate of pay. You are so eligible to earn Sick/Personal time. Sometimes, certain time frames are block out on a store level for vacation days. The practice is discouraged, but can happen. Sometimes, it is difficult to get a certain time off, without some inter-department negotiation, and requesting off three months in advance.
Vacation is below industry average and you have to wait a very long time to add weeks.

1 year = 1 week, 2 years = 2 weeks, 5 years = 3 weeks, 15 years = 4 weeks
Vacation time off is accrued through the associate's years of service. As the associate accrues it they are eligible to redeem their time off.
FT get 40hrs paid after 1yr . PT get 20hrs after 1yr Depending on your store you may or not be able to get the hrs you request due to management. My store would not let FT employees that been with company for over 13 yrs ,that have been taking 2weeks off for family trips etc... Would not let those employees take 2weeks straight off anymore. Store Manager blamed corporate, HR service center advised its the managers choice. Ask other employees what they get off. If you ever plan taking trip out town or god forbid maybe visit or travel out of country dont plan on it working here. Flight tickets can some times be non -refundable but people dont care here.
