It's nice that it is offered but you have to accrue it, which takes a long time to actually receive it
I used PTO during my last two weeks which was only 9 hours after working for the company for 9 months.
Weirdly, this is not bad. I get 3 weeks paid vacation per year, which is pretty good.
They don't give vacation hours on hours worked over 40 in a week. Vacation scales doesn't seem to be equal accumulation for all employees no matter of years worked.
Vacation & paid time off is used basically when upper management says you are able to, regardless if it's available to you or not.
They use a PTO system.
Only give you about a week- week and a half per year, but you have to use it for sick days, they use your pto automatically if you call out. If you do try to request time off, more often than not it gets denied. Even if you have the PTO for it. Most people just called out sick.
Every employee gets paid time off that they can use immediately.
this is good except Vacation time rolls over to sick time instead of getting paid out
worse thing would be finding the time in your work schedule to take time off.
