Offers a competitive benefits package
Not understanding the medical tiers
you can work from home in some roles, 401K plan is matched, great vacation pay, ATandT discounts - so great!
The company currently uses UMR and we have the option for a High Deductible plan with an HSA account through BMO Harris. You also have the optional for a traditional Health Insurance Plan if you wish. The most difficult aspect is sifting through all of the options but the company hosts meetings and provide online tools to help you find the package that is best for you.
What I liked most about the benefits were the Wellness program. There was an onsite wellness coach who encouraged everyone to stay active, eat well and offered his advice. I loved the constant wellness walks around the building. PTO was great but your never really approved for it.
The benefits are good with the company. Although with such a focus on wellness I don't understand why they don't cover gym memberships, or have traceable wellness items to reduce costs.
The cost was low but it was really not great if you need simple check up for a cold. You had to meet very high deductibles. Yearly was free but this is part of what everybody has to do. You can't go in for a cold, you pay full price. But you don't pay much for the insurance so it can balance out if you budget wisely.
They match 401k, offer very low rates on multiple great insurance packages, and genuinely want their employees to be healthy and live a healthy lifestyle.
Best thing is large amount of PTO for only working at the company over 1 year. Health insurance is great and affordable. Premiums just raised for the first time in like 12 years. 401k match is also fantastic. Wellness is driven home hard and ability to participate is great Cons- working from home is frowned upon. Vacation discounts aren't as great as you would imagine working for a travel company
Having a resource for wellness and nutrition dedicated to our company is amazing. I'm in the best shape of my life.
