“What Health Insurance provider do they give you as of 2020?”

  • 401K Plan  (5 comments)

“Very poor 401k plan, <2% matching that vests over 6 years. The catch is that the vesting skips the first year. You get 0% until you finish...”

“Extremely low number of days off that are accrued per month. Yearly maximum of number of hours that can be rolled over from year to year. No need to...”

401k and profit sharing contributions are nice. 6 years to full vest. Vacation/sick time accrue with tenure.

Best: We don't pay a premium for our health insurance. Worst: No Maternity/Paternity leave and only 10 vacation days a year (not negotiable). You need to save up years of vacation days in order to be paid for maternity/paternity leave.

They offer health insurance for their interns!! That was really great, nice to see a company invested in the health of even its newest employees

Benefits are not very good because they are paying for it. However, because they are private, employees get profit sharing each year, which is nice. They are strict about time sheets so time off is tricky sometimes.

Benefits are not the best. The vesting plan is good if you decide to stay for more than 6 years.

Good health/dental insurance. No vision covered unfortunately. Great on-site gym/facilities offered. Vacation time is not as much as it should be.

The insurance is not great, especially if you are a woman. Your annual well woman exam is not covered.

Best thing is profit sharing and 401k matching. They put a big emphasis on that, but pay you less in salary. Maternity/paternity leave is essentially non-existent. It's the amount of vacation you have stored up.
