The 401(k) Savings Plan accepts both USP and employee contributions. As a new hire, you are automatically enrolled at a rate of 3 percent of your eligible compensation and you are able to opt out of the plan within 45 days. After one year of service, USP contributes 10 percent of your total cash compensation to your 401(k).
The United States Pharmacopiea contributes yearly 10% of your salary to the 401k plan without requiring your contribution.

It operates a little different than most other 401K's I have dealt with.
After new employee works for one year, they will get 10% (401)k match for all their salary, including bonus.

It's a 403b plan and they match contributions after 1 year of empowerment.
