There are opportunities for job training, but most of it has to be sought out by the individual rather than offered by UA.
Human Resources has training and development team
Overall I was very satisfied with the benefits package. While pay may not be the highest, the benefits package is very competitive and few can match what UA offers.
There's not much initial training unless you ask for help.
This year's pedagogy course was excellent!
Many options for job training--sessions through HR and an online system. It's less useful for technical professional staff, but my unit will pay for conferences or additional training.
The University keeps asking us to go through training online which doesn't make sense to people from other departments who wouldn't work with the respective chemicals/instruments.
online training doesn't seem to be updated and sufficient
Depends on which area you are in and the expectation level as to how much training you will need, but there is always plenty of development opportunities in many areas all year long to participate in.
