They make you wait a little while to get it (i think 6 months or a year) but the 401k plan is really competitive.

Health insurance was expensive and vacation time was limited.

40% off Vitamin Shoppe's own brands and 20% off of everything else.

I have no complaints. This is probably one of the best benefit packages I have ever had.

Health insurance is expensive compared to other corporate retailers, and not very good. I didn't use benefits for health care because the upfront cost was too high. Good employee discount program, especially on owned brands. There is a profit sharing program based on sales goals, but I've only gotten that bonus 3 times in the last year. Stock options available, but the stock is not performing well. Vacation, personal and sick days are average, you won't get an opportunity to use sick days though.

Was coming off providing my own benefits working as contract labor. Had a child with braces under this program. As soon as the insurance kicked in, benefits for this child's braces were not allowed as it was considered a pre existing condition

Pretty good benefits package. A little bit expensive, but good coverage.

you get a fair discount on the products. especially on in house brands. Also they supply health coverage to if needed.

Once you go past employee amounts the cost rises significantly and the coverage is not very good unless you take the top choice.
