The benefits package was good while I was there but was changing drastically for the year after I left. I remember that many employees were seriously upset. I am not sure of the outcome of the changes.
Cigna health insurance has $1500 deductibles before insurance kicks in. What's even the point when you're single and 25?
Best: pre-tax transit check. Worst: the move to a high deductible HSA. Everything is out of pocket. Average person can't meet deductible.
Didn't offer a vision plan
The PTO are the best. You have 20 days for your holidays and sick days together. This is enough for most of people. Also, they started an easy Friday program this summer.
Deductible is $1,500/ year per person
Company Match, Profit Share, Benefits, Loyalty to long term employees
medical benefits were decent until the change in January 2015.
Thomas recently made cuts to their benefits package and now only offers a high deductible health plan (HDHP) with an optional health savings account (HSA). The old benefits were great. The new? Not so much. The company was forced to cut benefits to save money, but in doing so they've made themselves far less competitive in the job market, and will likely not retain top talent for long. PTO/sick day package is pretty competitive (21 days to start, more added at various intervals, high cap. My manager has more PTO than he can use in a year).
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
