Totokaelo provided a competitive and well regarded benefit package. I felt properly taken care of and appreciated.
Bare minimum benefits (third party awful health insurance that they "reimburse" you for) and not competitive whatsoever as advertised on their recent job postings. Paid leave depends on what you agreed upon when you were hired. Most of the time it is a week off, although some of the people that had been there for awhile were never sure how much time off they had. They also don't pay out your time-off earned when you leave.
The Totokaelo Benefits package is affordable and flexible.
Totokaelo outright lies about the generosity of their "benefits packages," avoiding giving long-time (6 months+ employees) excuses as to why a more comprehensive their system isn't already in place. A $14million + company has no excuse to not have this together, and repeatedly uses "we're a growing startup" as an excuse to manipulate employee's expectations. Totokaelo offers no benefits to employees that go above what is the bare minimum required of employers by the state of Washington.
