Flexible work schedule . 9/80 work schedule
everything is good except the vacation days is less than average
Matching 401k at 6%, wellness benefits, OT pay
Best benefit is annual shutdown between Christmas and New Year
What is the best or worst thing about the benefits package at Toyota North America? its ok for you when you need it i never needed it so if i did i guess it would work
Good benefits, many options to make the perfect choice for your family
Best Things: Good health insurance with vision Worst Things: Vacation policy, 401k not fully vested until five years of employment with Toyota
Their Health benefits are amongst the best, cost that the employees pay is minimal. Their pension plan was also pretty good.
The benefits we receive is above any other company I've worked for, and for that reason alone I would recommend. They offer team members a home outside of their home. As always, there is room for improvement t. We arent on top of the newest and greatest trends by any means, but we are never too far behind. I'd like to see men get paid paternity leave, but again, over time I'm hopeful they will adjust. I'd like to say equal pay for women, but i feel I am paid as much as my counterparts, so I dont feel that is an issue here.
Health insurance premiums are much lower than other companies in the area. Dental plan doesn’t seem great as I’m receiving bills for routine cleanings and no X-rays for my kiddos . Flexible work schedules are a nice option. Paid over time at below mgmt level which is nonexistent elsewhere in my field. Of course mgmt has to approve of working overtime prior to working it. The company has a strong commitment to community service. No vacation until 6 months with the company and then it is prorated based on month joined. Two weeks vacation max but there is an option to buy more time. The company shuts down during Christmas week and therefore has a healthy number of holidays as compared to my previous employer. They also provide a couple personal days each yr. There are car benefits allowing you to design your own car and lease with insurance included. Not sure if prices are competitive but for managers there is a car allowance. There is an on-site gym which is top knotch. There are several dining options onsite and I think the food is pretty good especially considering it’s a work cafeteria. Many healthy options but portions are small especially considering the price. There is a juice bar too. There is a Walmart on-site which has been convenient for prescriptions and buying gift cards and other incidental items. There are two banks on-site. There is also a clinic onsite. I have not used but seems like a convenient option. There are many training options and lots of events on campus. I can’t carve out time to attend many but I have enjoyed all that I’ve been able to fit in. There is maternity leave which appeared competitive. There is no paid paternity leave I was told. Pension plan for employees who joined 3 yrs ago or more. Not available to newer employees. Overall I’d say the benefits are better than average. I had to bump down to average because I personally haven’t been able to take advantage of many of the benefits due to time constraints.
