I find myself forgetting that some of the benefits I have gotten used to having at TraceSecurity aren't necessarily offered at other companies, so I wanted to take a minute and make note of all of the benefits that TraceSecurity has to offer (that I know of). Some of the benefits listed (like stock options or a stock purchase plan) do not apply since TraceSecurity is not a publicly traded company.
The medical insurance isn't the best. You have to stay with the company for 5 years to keep the 401k matches the company made for you. Average analyst retention is 2 years.
Outstanding health/dental if used correctly
Below industry average pay, recent changes to the training program have caused training to only be given to favorites, and huge monthly payments on insurance (over $500/mo). Travel is also difficult since you have to pay for it upfront and the get reimbursed after at least one most times two weeks. They historically have a problem retaining people and will most likely continue to have this problem due to management's lack of desire to keep anything above a level 1 analyst.
TraceSecurity has a pretty decent benefits package: Limited match 401k, health, dental & vision insurance, PTO, subsidized health club membership in Baton Rouge, on-the-job training, and work from home arrangements for the more experience analysts. And security analysts get to see the country!
I currently don't use the benefits so i am not sure what I could put here. It seems pretty good i just have better from an outside source.
The Insurance and Benefits overall were good.
Ok if you don't have better choices. No insurance for your family unless you pay out of your check.
Standard health insurance and PTO (120 hours a year). If you have dependents health insurance is pricey, so check that when negotiating your salary. No 401k match. No training budget.
Wonderful Company and will work with you when you are sick or need time off. Also great health insurance plans.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
