Travelzoo Experience is a paid vacation to experience deals. 5 days of extra vacation + reimbursement for the trip. Monthly off-site lunches, employee appreciation, Summer Fridays, great vacation and holiday policy, snacks and coffee in the office, HR programs for health and wellness. It would be great if healthcare was 100% covered for the employee and if gym memberships were discounted although there's a deal with ClassPass.
Vacation policy at Travelzoo is very good. Also every alternate Friday in summer is a half day. They don't provide anything other than base pay when it comes to compensation.
Generous paid time off policy. 15 pto days AFTER first year of employment. This is not including the 2 floaters, 10 sick days, federal holidays, and 5 extra days to experience Travelzoo deals (with a $1500 stipend). Company makes an effort to create a comfortable working space. Offices are typically modern and with a stocked kitchen. Employees are allowed to work from any office when traveling, pending manager’s approval. This helps save pto time. Unfortunately, none of the above makes up for the lack of growth, in all areas, within the company: promotions, raises, responsibilities, innovation. Therefore, employees will leave anyway.
