standard health, dental and life insurance
Health insurance but no 401k. Benefits kicked in quickly.
Benefits used to be semi-decent, where they would cover 100% costs for employees healthcare, but was less great for employees with families. This year the company drastically reduced it's contributions and the healthcare plans are pretty abysmal. Employees are better off using the marketplace. Full time employees get 10 days paid off per year. The stores are open most holidays, so you only get the 3 major holidays off.
6 months ago, the benefits package was actually pretty good! Treehouse used to pay 100% of your health, vision, dental, and a $15k life insurance policy. Since then, the rates have gone up, and I'm paying just about what I would be paying per month if I were to get insurance from the Marketplace. Not competitive rates at all, and no longer a good supplement to the relatively low wages.
- They seem like they change year to year, but always improving. - Discount is awesome. - CEO has promised 401k in a year or two.
TH covers the cost of it's employees health insurance. This is a huge perk given the fact that rates continue to increase. TH offers a BCBS Gold plan, which is extremely generous.
